I am a multifaceted journalist (web, radio, television, print journalism)
who has specialised in humanitarian, social and development issues
relating to the Third World and the Internet. While I was educated
and trained as a lawyer, I have spent all my career in communications,
working as a journalist in numerous African countries, in Asia, and
in North and South America. I currently manage the Online Communications
team of the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in
Geneva. I am a bilingual (English-French) French and Canadian citizen.

Humanitarian
experience

- Radio producer, writer and sound editor. Contrechamp
Humanitaire radio series : five hour-long radio
programs for the ICRC. 1994-1996.
These programs dealt with humanitarian issues (refugees, women and war,
landmines, child soldiers, international humanitarian law) facing 5
African countries (Rwanda, Angola, Kwazulu-Natal, Somalia and Liberia).
They were aired on French and Canadian national radio stations, the
BBC world service, and by more than 30 African radio broadcasters.

Networking

(Burkina Faso, Benin, Cameroon, Senegal, Mauritania, Madagascar) to
produce a monthly African radio program, Fréquence

- Regular trips made to Africa to recruit and train journalists

techniques, digital sound editing and use of Internet tools.
- From France, follow up on their development via distance learning
